Location: North haven, Connecticut.
This full‐time position is responsible for the consistent development, engineering and documentation of Audiovisual systems for live events.
Work includes: client meetings, site visits, proposal development (in collaboration with sales), create
equipment lists, wiring diagrams and room diagrams. Some travel and field work is required.
Timely and professional review and development of AV systems & documentation as required by clients.
Review and modify internal documentation to ensure crews are well-equipped to meet the client expectations.
Safely drive personal or company vehicle as necessary to meet with clients in CT, New England and New York.
Collaborate with teammates to manage cross-rentals and double booking of equipment.
Work on site during specific events to support lead technicians and crews with event information.
Provide input on equipment/technology purchase and disposal.
Skills & Requirements:
Hands-on experience with AV equipment and live event production. Professional sound, video, projection or lighting systems required.
Helpful, active participant in a busy working environment.
Project management experience a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, Visio and Vectorworks.
Detail oriented. Able to manage multiple active projects to balance priorities.
Personable and collaborative. Willing to listen and learn from experienced teammates.
Clean driving record required.
Hours and Schedule:
Varies according to the needs of the client. Generally, during weekday business hours.
